This is the perfect accessory to display numerous miniatures on an IKEA DETOLF display cabinet shelf, but works on many sizes of shelf or desk. Normally, these shelves are perfect for larger statues and action figures, but the shelves are spaced too far apart for efficient display/storage of smaller miniatures.
Shelves are scored to allow you to break them smoothly, creating a larger shelf for exceptionally wide or tall models.
Type A - The Half-Rack: 13.5" wide, 7.5" tall and 2.25" deep
This version uses only 1/2 of the vertical space to leave room for miniatures on top of the shelf. Or, it can be stood on its side. Each shelf pocket is 3.3" x 3.5" x 2.2": large enough to accommodate a miniature on a 55mm base. There are 1 horizontal and 3 vertical dividers to create 8 shelf-pockets, and can be resized by breaking the shelf on a pre-cut line.
Type B - The Full-Rack: 13.75" wide,14.75" tall, and 2.5" deep
This shelf maximizes the available storage. Each shelf pocket is 3.3" x 3.5" x 2.5": deep+broad enough for 4-5 infantry-size models, or one large monster. There are 3 vertical and 3 horizontal dividers to create 16 shelf pockets, and can be adjusted to be larger or smaller by breaking the shelf on a pre-cut line.
Type C - The Monster-Rack: 13.75" wide, 14.75" tall, and 3.3" deep
This shelf is intended for larger monster-sized models. Each Shelf Pocket is 4.7" tall, 3.3" wide and 3.3" deep. Perfect for larger monster-sized models. There are 3 vertical and 2 horizontal dividers which create 12 shelf pockets. These can be adjusted to be larger or smaller by breaking the shelf on a pre-cut line.
Assembly required. Specialized acrylic cement (such as Weld-On SCIGRIP #16) is recommended for best results.
